We work out where AI pays in your business, then build it.

a worked example · for owners

Have you ever noticed, weeks too late, that a conversation stopped with a question still open?

A lender asked for one more document. You meant to send it after a busy week. Then the thread went silent.

Is this you?

  • You carry many important conversations at once.
  • Lenders, partners, key clients, a buyer you've been courting.
  • Each moves at its own pace, and some stop without anyone saying so.

When we'd advise against it

If your key conversations happen mostly by phone, this sees too little. If your sales team already tracks every open thread in a working system, it adds little.

Where it goes wrong

  1. Question asked
  2. Reply promised
  3. Busy week
  4. Silence
  5. Thread gone cold

A partner asks about terms, and your answer waits on a number. Or you ask, and their side goes quiet.

Two weeks pass. Nobody calls the thread dead, but it is.

In commercial real estate, it's the lender. In freight brokerage, it's the shipper's rate question. In IT services, it's the renewal scope nobody answered.

What we would build: a quiet-thread watch

It notices when an open question stops moving.

It's one part of a Business Blind Spot Monitor. Think of it as an executive assistant on steroids, keeping every important thread in view.

What would change

  • Threads with an open question stay in view.
  • When one goes quiet longer than usual for that person, you hear about it.
  • You see who owes the next move: you, or them.
  • You pick it up while it's still warm.

What it's worth to you

Think of one conversation that ended last year without a no. A deal, a hire, a lender.

What would it have been worth if it had closed? That's the size of the next one.

Worth a look · Wednesday

Three threads gone quiet

A lender asked for your updated rent roll. No reply from you yet.
12 days
You asked a shipper about next quarter's volume. They usually answer within two days.
16 days
A client asked about renewal scope. The thread simply stopped.
3 weeks

This is the shape of the output, with names left out. A person decides on every line.

How it would run

Read every step

What it reads

Email threads with the people on your key list. It looks for questions and requests that never got an answer.

The steps

  1. Finds the open question in each thread, and who owes the answer.
  2. Learns each person's normal reply pace from past threads.
  3. Flags a thread as worth a look when it stays silent well past that pace.
  4. Shows who owes the next move, so you know whether to nudge or answer.
  5. Lets you mark it closed, waiting or still live.

Where a person signs off

You choose which threads to pick up, and how.

What it never does

It never sends a nudge for you. It never guesses why someone went quiet. It never rates people on how fast they reply.

What we'd need from you

Nothing to start: a week of forwarded threads is enough for a sample. Later, read-only access to your mailbox, once you decide. A short list of the people who matter most.

What usually comes with it

  • Promises you made that are now overdue.
  • A key client cooling against their usual pattern.
  • People waiting on a decision from you.

You become the owner no good conversation slips away from.

The conversations that matter keep moving until they reach an answer.

Yours won't look exactly like this. A first conversation is where we work out what it should look like.

If this sounds like your week, write to us.

We'd suggest a first conversation with one of our co-founders. It's free, about an hour, and needs no access.

Ask for a first conversation

A person replies, usually within one working day.
